Sustainable action is important at SEVEN TREES. We try to implement environmentally conscious action in all areas of the company and work continuously on further improvements. Below is a brief overview of the measures taken so far.
How it all began - in search of consistently plastic-free natural cosmetics
SEVEN TREES was founded in 2018 and can already look back on a long family tradition in the field of natural cosmetics. Already at the beginning of the last century, at that time still located on a farm in a completely different part of Germany, the family was already making natural beauty products such as tinctures, ointments, extracts and soaps. After this tradition had been idle for some time, it was taken up again and reformulated. Because the search for cosmetic products revealed a fundamental problem. None of the products available on the market was offered in a really sustainable packaging. And what good is natural cosmetics if they come in plastic packaging. The idea for SEVEN TREES was born - high-quality organic cosmetic products in really ecological packaging and nothing superfluous.
SEVEN TREES does without packaging made of plastic, glass etc. Our ecologically valuable jars made of wood and natural binders are made in Europe and are compostable and biodegradable.
The goal of SEVEN TREES is to offer high-quality organic natural cosmetics without chemical additives. The organic natural cosmetic products from SEVEN TREES are carefully manufactured in Germany. All SEVEN TREES products are of purely natural origin and help to care for and pamper the skin without burdening and irritating it with chemical additives. SEVEN TREES pays attention to high-quality, ecological raw materials and does not compromise on product quality when it comes to fragrance. No synthetic perfume oils are used here either, only pure essential oils from well-known European premium manufacturers. SEVEN TREES completely dispenses with artificial fragrances, because nothing can smell as wonderful as nature's flowers. And don't forget the fine and precious active ingredients that are contained in the essential oils and that make SEVEN TREES products unmistakable. You can do without conventional cosmetic products and will get by with fewer products than before. Reduce excess in the bathroom and create space for your daily beauty ritual.

Vegan, natural, skin friendly fine soaps
Verwöhnen Sie sich mit unseren milden Pflegeseifen, ganz natürlich und hautschonend. SEVEN TREES bietet biologische, vegane** Seifen zur Körperpflege und Gesichtsreinigung. Die Seifen von SEVEN TREES sind rückfettend und so sanft zur Haut, dass sie bereits während des Waschens sanft pflegen. Alle Seifen von SEVEN TREES sind frei von künstlichen Zusatzstoffen und ohne potentiell allergenen Stoffe und Konservierungsmittel. Für Ihr Wohlbefinden verwenden wir nur hochwertigste Inhaltsstoffe in all unseren Produkten. Die Seifen von SEVEN TREES werden alle im Kaltsiedeverfahren hergestellt. Das bedeutet, dass die Seife bei niedrigen Temperaturen verarbeitet wird. Dadurch bleiben die Pflegestoffe erhalten und können während des Waschens auf Ihrer Haut wirken. Anders als bei industriell hergestellten Seifen wird den Seifen von SEVEN TREES das natürliche Glyzerin, das während des Verseifungsprozesses entsteht, nicht entzogen. Glyzerin ist ein natürlicher Feuchtigkeitsspender, der in den Seifen von SEVEN TREES erhalten bleibt und dafür sorgt, dass diese die Haut beim Waschen im Gegensatz zu herkömmlichen Seifen nicht austrocknen. SEVEN TREES bietet auf einander abgestimmte Pflegeserien für unterschiedliche Hauttypen – für trockene, fettige und sensible Haut. Unsere Seifen sind mild und rückfettend und sorgen für ein klareres und reineres Hautbild, ohne die Haut auszutrocknen. Zum Haarewaschen empfehlen wir grundsätzlich keine Seifen, sondern unsere festen, veganen Shampoos.
Nine different solid shampoo bars for different hairtypes, palmoil free and vegan
Die SEVEN TREES Kollektion von festen Shampoos umfasst neun verschiedene Varianten für unterschiedliche Haar- und Kopfhauttypen. Jedes Shampoo hat eine andere Rezeptur und andere Schwerpunkte, d.h. ein anderes Verhältnis von waschaktiven Substanzen (das, was die Haare sauber macht) zu pflegenden und konditionierenden Inhaltsstoffen (die, die Haut und Haare pflegen). Allen Shampoos gemein ist, dass sie alle im sauren pH-Bereich < 7 liegen, um Haare und Kopfhaut zu schonen. Der pH-Wert ist dabei für jedes Shampoo spezifisch, je nach dem für welchen Anwendungsbereich das Shampoo formuliert ist. Die Schuppenstruktur der Haare reagiert mitunter empfindlich auf Haarwäschen mit Produkten im basischen Bereich, weshalb wir die Haarwäsche mit Haarseifen (die immer im basischen Bereich über pH > 7 liegen) nicht empfehlen. Eine Haarwäsche mit einem sauren Shampoo bewirkt, dass die Schuppenstruktur der Haare glatt anliegt, während eine basische Wäsche die Schuppenstrucktur der Haare aufrauht. Die Haare wirken dann oft „schafig“. Man kann versuchen, diesen Effekt mittels einer sauren Spülung zu vermeiden, bzw. rückgängig zu machen. Man sollte allerdings gerade empfindliche, strapazierte Haare nicht unnötig zu strapazieren und wir empfehlen daher von vorneherein die Verwendung von sauren Haarwaschmitteln. Natürlich ist es auch bei festen Shampoos so, dass nicht jedes Shampoo zu jedem Haar-/Kopfhauttyp passt. Daher gibt es bei SEVEN TREES neun Varianten und wir glauben, da sollte für (fast) jeden ein passendes Stück dabei sein. Alle festen Shampoos von SEVEN TREES sind natürlich vegan, palmölfrei, plastikfrei und ohne künstliche Duftstoffe.
Highly effective deodorants without aluminum made from natural ingredients
SEVEN TREES offers effective cream deodorants without the addition of aluminum, parabens and artificial fragrances. The SEVEN TREES deodorants work due to the composition of the natural, organically grown ingredients and the combination of essential oils. They are available in three different fragrance compositions. They all have in common that they prevent unpleasant armpit odor. The SEVEN TREES deodorant creams are deodorants, not anti-perspirants. This means that natural perspiration is not prevented. You continue to sweat, but the ingredients of the deodorant ensure that there is no unpleasant body odor. The cream works for some users even if "the child has already fallen into the well". I.e. Even if the odor has already started, the deodorant can still counteract it.
Natural hair wax and balm without mineral oil
SEVEN TREES offers high quality natural hair wax for short to medium-short hair. Only natural, organic ingredients are used. SEVEN TREES All Day All Night Hairwax is not vegan. The SEVEN TREES skin balm is also available in two versions, Summer Orange and Fine Tonka. SEVEN TREES does not use mineral oil derivatives and other chemical additives out of conviction. Who is behind SEVEN TREES
Dear visitors,
my name is Nina Breidenbach and I'm the one behind SEVEN TREES. I founded SEVEN TREES in 2018, after about two years of preparation. We have been online for a few weeks now. That was when I took a deep breath for the first time in months. But there is still no time to rest.
What is SEVEN TREES? And why is it so special?
SEVEN TREES is an organic natural cosmetics care line. We not only use natural ingredients, but also make sure that these are also organically grown as far as possible. In addition, almost all of our products are vegan (except for the hair wax) and cruelty-free. We want to combine high quality products, sustainable packaging and modern design with no frills. When looking for natural cosmetic products that are really natural, I just couldn't find them. Either they came in glass pots or plastic pots and / or tubes or, if they were packed in cardboard, the inside was still covered with foil to act as an oil or moisture barrier.
And so the idea for SEVEN TREES came about. As the name suggests, nature, naturalness and environmental protection are very important to me. For SEVEN TREES, I therefore try to act sustainably and ecologically consciously throughout the company, or rather, to establish it in all work steps, there is more about that under sustainability.
Neben all den wichtigen Nachhaltigkeitsaspekten, ist es mir trotzdem wichtig, das die Produkte schön und elegant aussehen. Nach einiger Recherche haben wir dann unsere schönen Tiegel aus Holz und natürlichen Bindemitteln gefunden und sind sehr sehr froh darüber, eine wirklich gute, umwelfreundliche Alternative zu Glas und Plastik gefunden zu haben.
My motivation
I just want to offer my customers beautiful and sustainable products and show that consumer goods and sustainability do not have to be mutually exclusive. It should be possible to buy everyday products, in this case personal care products, without having to forego quality, ecology and chic design.
Biggest hurdles
So far, SEVEN TREES has been fully self-financed and sometimes you have to come up with a few creative ideas to achieve your goal. However, this was important to us in order to be really independent and to be able to act. In addition, of course, not everything works as planned. Everything about delivery bottlenecks, delivery failures or an over-optimistic assessment of one's own capacities was included. The important thing is to stay on the ball. Even if things don't go smoothly, or at least not as planned.
And in the future?
In the near future, we would first like to take care of obtaining the relevant natural cosmetics seal. We meet the requirements for this, but I have not yet been able to take care of it due to capacity reasons. The same applies to socio-ecological issues. We have already contacted an initiative that is important to us, but we have not yet concluded a cooperation agreement, which is why we cannot name the initiative yet.
In addition, we want to bring out other beautiful and useful products. Both personal care products and others. They are already in development, but what it is exactly is not yet revealed.

All things printed
The bands for the soaps, like the other printed matter, are printed on environmentally friendly FSC-certified paper. We are aware of the controversy and are open to alternatives. Please write us a message.

SEVEN TREES products are made from high quality raw materials. These are not only of natural origin, but also organically produced.
Packaging
Jars from a European manufacturer are used for deodorant, balm and hair wax from SEVEN TREES. The jars are made of wood and natural binders. They are free from microplastics and completely biodegradable.
